Louisville Slugger Museum
The Slugger museum is pretty cool. I am not the most passionate baseball fan but there is something cool about seeing how things are made, especially baseball bats. The tour gives great insight on the production process of the bats and the history of the business. I learned a lot about the behind the scenes action during the time there. I watched on as a craftsman shaved down a block of wood into a bat. The factory offers a service to create your own custom bat using all of the information of the different types of bats you learned about. There’s even a batting cage for you to take a couple hacks at pitches of different speeds.
What To Eat
The Hot Brown is an open-faced sandwich of baked chicken or turkey breast and bacon, covered in creamy Mornay sauce and baked or broiled until the bread is crisp and the sauce begins to brown.1. This dish is unique in all matters and worth every bit of the experience. Very tasty and full of a range of flavors.
