Live, Laugh, & Travel San Diego Zoo (San Diego, CA)
Unlike Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo, the San Diego is popular and well known throughout the US as one of the top ranked zoos. The zoo is HUGE and full of all kinds of animal exhibits. You can count on seeing just about any and everything from lions, tigers, bears, panthers, leopards, and my favorite the polar bears. I thoroughly enjoyed each theme in the zoo and the variety of ‘wildlife’ on display. If you want to make the most of your day, I recommend getting there early to make the most of the higher than normal ticket price. Check out the pizza spot near the entrance and grab a souvenir cup.
